Attended in late 50s, 60s, and early 70s. I enjoyed youth activities,
many trips to Montlure, and Vacation Bible School. Tim and I were
married at Westminster in July 1972. We moved to Washington, D.C.,
then to San Antonio, and back to Phoenix, when we returned to Westminster
in 1976. Our oldest daughter, Megan, was born in 1977 and baptized
at Westminster by Larry Corbett. We transferred to Christ Presby.,
and we had two more daughters, twins Janelle and Robyn, born in 1980.
Another Westminster connection -- Patte and Kent Fleming are Janelle's
godparents!
We moved to Portland, Oregon, in 1991. Megan married Rob Brooks
in 1999, and they just had their first child, Thomas Gerald, Feb. 11. Megan
is a graduate of Whitworth College (a good Presbyterian school!) and is
in graduate school, working toward her master's degree in library science.
Janelle and Robyn are both in college, Janelle at Oregon State (Go Beavs!)
majoring in photography and Robyn at Marylhurst University majoring in
interior architecture.
I work at Lewis & Clark College as the assistant to the Dean of
the College, and Tim is a project manager (data processing). We belong
to Bethany Presbyterian -- Tim is an elder and I'm a deacon. We both
sing in a small gospel/contemporary praise group.
I have many fond memories of Westminster, and I would love to hear from
people. |
