This was the 16th
Annual Egg Hunt!

The usual location:
The park at the East end of Pembroke Boulevard.
|
|

Before the egg hunt,
there was something special to celebrate.
The official Grand Opening
of our new
Little Tots Playground
addition!
|
|
 |
|
Cheryl Douglas lead
a group of highly-motivated neighbors to add a Tot-friendly playground
at our park. They worked with the Civic League to purchase the materials
and pay the city to install it. No tax money was available or used.
|
|
 |
|
Cheryl thanked the
Civic League for providing over $60,000 to buy the new playground and introduced
Joash Schulman, who is the District 9 Representative. Not pictured
but also present was Chris Taylor, the District 8 Representative.

|
Three young ladies
helped Cheryl cut the ribbon, officially opening the Little Tots Playground.
