The Big Snow of 2007
Rome, New York
We still have our first house in Rome, New York.
Since we don't live there anymore, we rent to some very nice people.
In early February 2007, it snowed.
In fact, it snowed over ten feet in some parts of Upstate New York.
These photos show how much snow was around our house.
There was so much snow, that roofs had to be cleaned off to prevent possible collapse.
This is after the room was cleaned off.
They have run out of space to pile the snow!
You can see how deep the snow was on the neighbor's roof
that hasn't been cleaned yet.
Boy!  I'm glad I don't live in New York any longer!
