Graduated from West Phoenix High School, Phoenix, Arizona, 1963.
Graduated from Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona, in 1968 with BS
in Radio/TV Broadcasting. Earned MS from George Peabody College of
Vanderbilt University in 1980 in Human Development Counseling. Certified
by BICSI in 1998 as a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD).
Commissioned through Air Force ROTC as Second Lieutenant. Served 20 years with US Air Force as Communications - Information Systems Officer. Retired as Major in 1988 while assigned to communications staff of NATO Supreme Allied Commander Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia. Currently reside in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Founded Clifton Furedy Information Engineering in 1986, specializing in software development. Continued to operate CFIE as part-time business until 2004. Employed by Texcom, Inc. as Project Manager and Program Manager from 1988 until 1996. Joined Schick Communications in 1996 as Program Manager. Present duties include business telephone, voice mail and digital video systems, local area network and fiber optic cable designs, applications software, network administration and Internet web site design. Married Roberta Fiorini Russian ("Bobbie") of Rome, New York, in 1981 and have two step-daughters, Susan and Tricia. Hobbies include electronics, computers and photography. Received over 50 awards for amateur photography. |
