Hello, Dear ROWS Members,

Our new year is off to a good start—new officers installed, committee chairs at work, and bright ideas for programs for our meetings. This year promises continuing friendship and fellowship and support for each other, plus appreciation of good programs and enjoyment of good food. 

Now, to enjoy these benefits, please renew your membership promptly! Beverly and Adriana are already updating yearbook information, and we don’t want you to be left out. 

Then, too, it’s time to invite others to join our Society. You know ROWS membership is a great bargain. Just eighteen dollars gives each one of us something to look forward to—fashion shows, stimulating speakers, and the joys of keeping up with what’s new. So bring your friends, and let’s encourage all new members.

We still have a few vacancies on various committees, so if you are willing to volunteer, please call me at 857.3801 or e-mail me at annemeek@aol.com. You can choose your spot, and you won’t be alone. We have a great committee structure, so that “many hands make light work.” Here are a few opportunities for you: 

• Is anyone willing to coordinate the newsletter? We’re working on an approach to make the task easier. More about that when the deal is done!
• Will you join the decorations committee? Maybe arrange centerpieces just once during the year?
• Anyone willing and eager to take photographs? You’ll get a by-line!
• What talents are you willing to share? Just let me know.
