Five-Star Levels of Excellence Award

| MOAA’s Chairman of the Board Gen. Richard Neal, USMC-Ret., presents
a Five-Star Levels of Excellence Award to CAPT Paul “Holly” Hollandsworth,
USN- Ret., President of the Hampton Roads Chapter.
MOAA kicked off its 2010 “A Capital Event” with a Levels of Excellence
Award dinner, held Nov. 15 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the South Ballroom
of the Sheraton National Hotel in Arlington, Va.

Veterans Day, November 11th 2010

| The Veterans Day parade and luncheon are sponsored by the Hampton
Roads Council of Veterans Organizations and co-sponsored this year by the
Disabled American Veterans. The Grand Marshall this year was the
Immediate Past President of the HRCVO, Priscilla Beede, USAF.
The Proclamation was read this year by the Honorable William D. Sessoms,
Jr., Mayor Virginia Beach. The Guest Speaker at the luncheon
was RADM Mark A. Handley, USN Commander 1st Naval Construction Division.
The Chapter members bought two tables of 10 this year in order to share
with the Active Duty Members attending the parade and luncheon. Chapter
attendees and guest are shown in the photos above and below. |
