Hampton Roads Chapter Military Officers Association of America   Chapter Activities

June 2004 Social MOAA board member, CDR John Rooney, USN Ret. (l) discusses the evening presentation with our guest speaker, Colonel Thomas Turlip (r).  Colonel Turlip described his work in Iraq as commander of the 203rd Red Horse Squadron.  The unit was activated under Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom in January 2003 to support our nation’s efforts in the war on terrorism and the liberation of the Iraqi people.  Top of Page
