MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE

Mission: To retain existing Chapter members and recruit new members. The membership committee will plan and carry out membership solicitation drives, and follow up on all leads concerning potential members. The committee will coordinate chapter participation in military retiree seminars, open houses and appreciation days to publicize the Chapter, develop interest in the organization and recruit new members.

We need your help to recruit members, especially active duty and second career officers. MOAA National has said many times that the strength of MOAA comes from the grass roots strength of its local chapters.

We ask you to contact a retired officer friend or an officer on active duty and recruit them as a member of our local chapter, as well as for MOAA National, if they do not already belong. Numbers do matter and you can help sustain the strength of our Hampton Roads Chapter by helping us recruit and retain members.
